San Choy Bau (Asian Lettuce Wraps)

My version of San Choy Bau provides a quick and tasty meal and uses both Garam Masala and Mango Chutney.

Ingredients:

- 1 tbsp coconut oil

- 500g beef mince

- 1 tbsp Alison's Goodness garam masala

- 2 tbsp Tamari

- 1/4 cup Alison's Goodness mango chutney

- 350g packet of Asian salad mix (discard sauce)

- 1 large Cos lettuce

Method:

1. Add oil to pan and cook mince on medium heat until cooked through. Drain.

2. Return mince to pan and reduce heat to low.

3. Add garam masala, tamari and mango chutney. Stir until combined and cook for 1 min.

4. Add contents from Asian salad mix to the pan and stir until combined. Continue cooking until salad mix is cooked through and has softened.

To serve - Spoon mixture into lettuce leaf. Wrap to close lettuce leaf and enjoy!

Chicken and plant based mince are good alternatives to beef.
